The Rainier team is great. They are friendly, get the job done in a timely manner, and never have any rework. Also, they are not afraid to defer work to someone else, if needed. I had a major electrical issue on a vehicle last year. They recommended going to the dealer, as they would have to "go on a fishing expedition" to try to resolve the issues, costing a lot of money in shop time. They felt the dealer would have much more intimate knowledge of the vehicle. It turned out to be the right move. Now that's customer service!

I made an appointment for a Tuesday and brought the car in the late afternoon. I had an idea what the issue was and informed them as such. They told me they wouldn’t be able to look at it until the next day, which is understandable. I then heard nothing. I went in on Friday to ask them if they had looked at it and they said they had and told me what they found. They said the part was $350, but that didn’t include labor. They informed me they were putting the estimate together right then and I would need to wait to receive the estimate by email so I could authorize the repairs. I didn’t get the email until Monday. It had four different and difficult to understand estimates. One of the estimates was for $5800 in repairs, not including the initial problem. I authorized the repairs (for the specific problem) that day. The vehicle wasn’t finished until the following Monday. I’m assuming the repair was done correctly, but I can’t understand why the diagnostic took five days? I was also told the diagnostic would be $180, but it ended up being over $300 and I wasn’t told why. Altogether, I ended up paying almost $1200 to fix a $2500 car. I won’t be doing business with Rainier Automotive in the future. Bad communication, bad time management and quite expensive.

Rainier totally made my day! Everything was explained to me including several options and the work was completed earlier than promised. These guys are the best!

The best auto service I could have ever hoped for!

The Rainier team was most accommodating. It was challenging since the car broke down close to the Thanksgiving holiday. I was out of the country by the time my daughter picked up the car but I believe she was satisfied with the repair.

Jeff was great to work with. He kept me informed, and gave me all the options. The price was competitive all the way around. Will definitely use this shop again.

Rainer has always been great to work with. Any place I have lived I have always searched for the small town “like” auto center that treats you like a neighbor and friend but at the same time provides high quality work at a fair price. Here in Maple Valley for me that’s Rainer Automotive.
